And LOL, painted upper floor (raised ranch) into dark gray - french historic gray. Contrasted with medium soft velvet chesterfield and two white chairs. Gold and black accent. Large white-gold-blue painting and blue and white pillows on sofa and gold pillows on chairs. Sounds like a lot but it is super elegant. This is advice from a designer, and I suggest you get a designer, not a real estate agent to stage and colour your house.

Very good advice. Light gray may be okay but dark gray or black is out of the question. I would pass a house with fad colors.

It does sound beautiful, but too personal if you are planning on selling. Today’s buyers want neutral and move in ready.
